TULSA, Okla., May 12, 2011 – MacroSolve, Inc. (OTCPK:MCVE) (OTCQB:MCVE), a leading provider of mobile technologies, apps and solutions for business, today announced it has signed a three year licensing and distribution agreement with Tulsa-based SixByte Consulting. SixByte has purchased a license for MacroSolve’s DineInsight™ mobile restaurant app on an exclusive basis covering the geographic area of Northeastern Oklahoma. SixByte will market and distribute DineInsight to its growing base of restaurant clients. As a licensed distributor of Restaurant Manager™, a widely used point-of-sale system, SixByte already serves the restaurant market and will now offer DineInsight as its mobile app solution.
This agreement is consistent with MacroSolve’s strategy for rapid scaling and distribution of its patented apps. Working with SixByte in this exclusive territory enables rapid expansion of the DineInsight app without the need for MacroSolve to employ additional direct sales people. MacroSolve has been paid an undisclosed licensing fee for the exclusive geographic agreement.
“SixByte has a very forward vision on how restaurants can be supported. SixByte and its restaurant clients will have access to the best restaurant app, while being protected under our patent,” stated Clint Parr, President and CEO of MacroSolve.
“DineInsight is a tool that enables restaurants to build greater profits and brand awareness. We believe it’s a very sellable product due to its value proposition and we’re pleased to bring it to restaurants throughout our region,” added Christopher Smith, Senior Partner of SixByte Consulting.
DineInsight, powered by ReForm XT™, a patented mobile app platform, is a powerful marketing and promotion tool for restaurants, providing a custom, concept-branded mobile application for iPhone, BlackBerry, Android and other leading smartphone devices.
